The Silicon Valley Roller Girls would like to announce our 2010 season! We have more games this season for both the Dot.Kamikazes, including our first tournaments, and the KillaBytes. We will also be logging the frequent flyer miles next season, as we will be traveling from Arizona to Washington to Colorado for various bouts. But, three of our four home bouts this year are doubleheaders, so that’s almost twice the derby! We also promise some outdoor bouts at Roosevelt Rink (TBA). Below, our home bouts are in boldface:
March 6: Dot.Kamikazes vs. Dockyard Derby Dames (Tacoma, WA) AND
KillaBytes vs. San Diego Hard Corps (doubleheader @ San Jose Skate)
March 27-28: Dot.Kamikazes compete in The Dustbowl Tournament @ Bakersfield, CA
April 17-19: Dot.Kamikazes compete in The Dust Devil Tournament @ Tucson, AZ
May 1: Dot.Kamikazes vs. Central Coast Roller Derby (Paso Robles, CA) AND

We had some sellouts last season, so check back here when season tickets for our home bouts will be available through Brown Paper Tickets.
Will there be no Big One this year?
I think it is on the itinerary, but I know there was a date change from May to June–waiting to hear what the final word is on that.
Season tickets for 2010. When will they be available?
Jim, I just talked to our VP and Bout Coordinator last night and they have told me that season tickets will not be available this year due to the fact that there are only 4 home bouts.
However, on the plus side, bout tickets will be cheaper this season (YAY!)–we will be sticking with a $10 advance purchase price. We will have the link for our first home bout tickets up no later than Wednesday.
